Ruling: The boosted unit will not die. Damage is healed at the same time as the stat boost is removed during end of combat cleanup.

Sequence:

• All parts of the special cleanup happen at the same time
• The damage removal and power reduction occur together, so the unit survives

Nuances:

• This same principle applies to other temporary stat boosts like Yi's defender bonus - a 2 power unit that receives +2 power as defender and takes 2 damage will survive because the damage heals as the boost ends
