Ruling: The first showdown continues and must fully resolve before the second showdown begins. The second showdown is staged and waits until the first showdown ends.

Sequence:

• The showdown at BF1 continues as normal
• The showdown at BF1 only ends once both players have passed with focus on an empty chain
• During this time, the showdown at BF2 is staged but does not begin
• Once the BF1 showdown has ended, the BF2 showdown begins and continues as normal

Nuances:

• The turn player does not choose which showdown resolves first; the first showdown always resolves completely before the second one begins
