Answer

No — once Sabotage resolves, the chosen card is immediately recycled, and there's no window to play it.

Sabotage's reveal, choice, and recycle all happen as one uninterrupted action during resolution (FAQ #4862). The card is never "targeted" — cards in hand aren't targets, and the choice is made at resolution, so you can't react to the selection itself.

The only opening is before Sabotage resolves: during the Reaction window while it's on the Chain, the opponent may play cards from hand per normal timing rules (Reaction-only in Closed State). If they play a card during that window, it leaves their hand and simply can't be chosen when Sabotage resolves.
