can i recycle a gold token instead of a rune when conquering sigil of the Kennen, Storm of Shuriken

No — a Gold gear token can't substitute for the rune. Sigil of the Storm's conquer trigger specifically requires you to recycle one of your runes, and a Gold token is a gear token, not a rune (Runes are a separate card type and recycle to the Rune Deck, CR 417.1.b).

If you have no runes to recycle, the trigger still resolves and simply does nothing — you keep the point (FAQ 6863). Note the "Storm of Shuriken" part is Kennen, a separate card; his conquer trigger is unrelated to Sigil of the Storm.
