Can you cast Retreat before an opponent gains a hold to win the game?

Ruling: You cannot react to an opponent scoring a hold point. You must play Retreat earlier, either during your own turn or in response to a "at the beginning of your turn" ability if one goes on the chain, as those happen before scoring.
