Where do you hide Zhonya's - at a battlefield you occupy or in base?
You must hide Zhonya's to a battlefield you control, not to base. When you play Zhonya's from hidden, you play it to that Battlefield (rule 811.1.d.1). This includes hidden gear, and overrides the normal restriction that gear have in only being allowed to be played to base (rule 811.1.d.1.a). These rulings were added so it would be possible for hidden gear to attach to a unit at that Battlefield upon being played from hidden (Edge of Night). In the next cleanup, unattached gear will get recalled to base.
