When playing equipment cards, do they go to the board first before being equipped, or are they immediately equipped when played?

Ruling: Equipment cards go to your base first when played, then you must pay the Equip cost separately to attach them to a unit. The initial play cost does not include equipping.

Nuances:

• Quick-Draw is an exception that allows equipment to bypass this normal process
• The Equip cost shown on equipment is used both for the initial equip and for re-equipping after a unit dies
