In a best of 3 tournament, if you have 2 different champion units that can qualify as chosen champion (like Ahri - Inquisitive and Ahri - Alluring) in your deck, can you choose which one is your chosen champion in game one after seeing the opposing Legend, or does the chosen champion have to stay the same for each game 1?

Ruling: The chosen champion must stay the same for game 1 of each match in a best of 3. You must register your chosen champion as part of your deck registration, and you cannot change it during game one. You can only swap your chosen champion during sideboarding between games.

Sequence:

• Register your chosen champion as part of your deck list before the tournament
• Play game 1 with the registered chosen champion
• During sideboarding (between games), you may switch your chosen champion
• Present your deck for subsequent games with either the original or new chosen champion

Nuances:

• When registering your deck, you must specifically list your chosen champion separately (not just as part of the 40-card main deck)
