When a 6 might unit attacks a battlefield with two enemy units (3 might and 2 might), can damage be split to kill both units, or must all 6 might go to one unit?

Answer

Ruling: You can split damage between multiple units. You assign damage up to lethal (equal to the enemy unit's might) to defeat each unit before moving to the next.

Sequence:

  • Choose a unit and assign damage equal to its might to defeat it
  • If might remains, assign damage to the next unit
  • Continue until all might is assigned

Nuances:

  • You cannot overkill - you only need to assign damage equal to a unit's might to defeat it
  • There is no combat trick to increase might after damage assignment
