Ruling: Ravenbloom Student does not get +1 when a spell is played but does not resolve. In Riftbound, "played" means the complete process of being played, which includes resolution.

Nuances:

• If a spell is countered or otherwise prevented from resolving, it is not considered "played" for the purposes of play triggers
• All hidden cards gain the reaction tag and can be played in response to spells and triggers
