If a unit dies in response to a 'When I attack...' trigger, does the ability still happen?

Ruling: It depends on the wording of the ability. If the ability uses the word "here" (like Leona, Determined), the ability will not resolve if the unit is killed before the trigger resolves. If the ability does not require the unit to be "here" (like Twisted Fate), it will resolve fully even if the unit is killed.

Nuances:
