Ruling: Units can have multiple equipment attached to them. However, it is unknown whether you can attach a permanent to a permanent it is already attached to.

Nuances:

• The wording on the attach game action is not yet known
• By analogy to movement rules (you can't move a unit to a location it already is at), you likely can't attach a permanent to a permanent it is already attached to
• Officially uncertain if Jax's ability can attach equipment to a unit that equipment is already attached to
