Ruling: The showdown does not end immediately after Hostile Takeover resolves. You will have the opportunity to use Malzahar's ability to sacrifice the stolen unit during the Focus phase.

Sequence:

• Hostile Takeover flips and steals the opponent's unit
• The showdown continues
• After your opponent Passes or uses their Focus, you may use Malzahar's ability to sacrifice the stolen unit
• The showdown ends only after both players pass Focus
