How many action spells can a player cast during the showdown phase in combat?

Ruling: Players can cast as many action spells as they want during showdown. Both players must pass priority consecutively before combat proceeds to the combat damage phase.

Sequence:

• After each spell chain resolves, the active player receives focus and can cast another action
• The opponent can respond with reactions or their own actions when they have priority
• This continues until both players pass priority in succession
