When I move into an unoccupied battlefield and my opponent uses Ride the Wind to move Yasuo - Remorseful in response, who is the attacker/defender and does Mask of Foresight trigger?

Ruling: When Yasuo moves in via Ride the Wind after you move into an unoccupied battlefield, Combat becomes staged. You complete the initial Showdown first, then start a new Combat with you as the Attacker (since you applied Contested to the battlefield first).

Sequence:

• You move into the unoccupied battlefield
• Opponent plays Ride the Wind, moving Yasuo in
• Complete the initial Showdown that started when you moved in
• Begin Combat with you as the Attacker

Nuances:

• Yasuo - Remorseful does not trigger in this scenario because you are the attacker, not Yasuo
• Mask of Foresight only triggers once per Combat since you can only be attacker or defender, not both
• If Yasuo uses Ride the Wind to move to a different battlefield you control while already in Combat at another battlefield you control, he would attack twice, triggering both Remorseful and Mask twice
