Answer

Ruling: You can play Actions multiple times during a showdown as long as you have Focus and Priority and there have not been two consecutive passes. You can also react to triggers with cards drawn from resolving other reactions on the same chain.

Sequence:

  • Play an Action (e.g., Void Seeker)
  • React to its trigger with a Reaction (e.g., Stupefy)
  • Pass priority, opponent passes
  • Stupefy resolves and you draw a card
  • You can play the newly drawn card as a Reaction to the same trigger still on the chain
  • After the chain fully resolves, if your opponent passes Focus and Priority back to you, you can play another Action

Nuances:

  • Focus must be passed by both players in sequence for the showdown to end, not just that both have passed at some point
  • The spell itself is on the chain, not separate triggers it creates
