Ruling: The unit ends up at 1 might. Smokescreen checks the current might (4) when it resolves, then applies -4 (minimum 1), resulting in the unit being at 1 might.

Sequence:

  • Unit starts with 3 base might and +1 from buff token = 4 might
  • Smokescreen resolves, checking current might of 4
  • Smokescreen applies -4 might (minimum 1)
  • Both the buff token and Smokescreen apply in the arithmetic layer: 3 + 1 - 3 = 1 might

Nuances:

  • The actual reduction applied by Smokescreen becomes -3 (not -4) because of the minimum 1 clause
  • This ruling may be subject to clarification in future rules updates
