What happens when you target Time Warp with Mystical Reveal?
verified
Answer
Ruling: You take an extra turn immediately after the current turn ends, then take your normal turn in the regular turn order, resulting in two consecutive turns.
Sequence:
- Current turn ends
- You take an extra turn (from the Mystical Reveal + Time Warp interaction)
- You take your normal turn in turn order
Nuances:
- In Free-For-All (multiplayer), if you Mystical Reveal on Time Warp, you take an immediate turn after the one that Time Warp stopped, even if you're not supposed to be the next player in turn order. Once that turn ends, play returns to normal turn order.
- If multiple extra turns are created, they queue up with the last resolved extra turn happening first, then earlier ones, before returning to normal turn order.
- There is disagreement about whether this ruling is correct based on the card text, with some arguing the wording should not grant two turns.
