Answer

Ruling: When abilities trigger simultaneously from different players, they enter the chain based on turn order (active player's abilities first, then non-active player's). The chain resolves in reverse order (last in, first out).

Sequence:

  • If it's the attacker's turn: Mask of Foresight enters chain first, then Ahri's Nine-Tailed Fox
  • Ahri's ability resolves first (-1 might), then Mask resolves (+1 might)
  • A 1 might attacking unit ends at 1 might (1 → 0 → 1)
  • If it's the defender's turn (e.g., via Charm/Blitz): Order reverses - Ahri enters chain first, then Mask
  • Mask resolves first (+1 might), then Ahri resolves (-1 might)
  • A 1 might attacking unit ends at 1 might (1 → 2 → 1)

Nuances:

  • Ahri's Nine-Tailed Fox ability is treated as a "When I attack" trigger for timing purposes, even though it affects attacking units
  • Multiple copies of Mask would all enter the chain together (not alternating)
  • Might reduction is different from damage - it reduces total might, not just health
  • Turn order determines chain order when abilities trigger simultaneously from different players
