Ruling: It depends on whether the battlefield started as Combat. If the battlefield was uncontrolled and there were never enemy units there, then no. If it started as Combat because the opponent controlled it but then moved their unit out with a spell, then yes.

Nuances:

• If you moved in a unit with a move trigger and the opponent responded to that move trigger by removing their unit, then the passive does not trigger.
