For Get Excited + Fight or Flight interaction, when do you choose what to discard and does it lock you into targeting?

Ruling: You must do as much of the card as possible. You are not locked into what you discard when you cast, so you can pitch something that might not have killed the targeted unit to save better cards in your hand.

Nuances:

• The discard choice happens at cast time, before resolution
• You can strategically discard a card that wouldn't provide enough damage to kill your target, preserving stronger cards in hand
