When does Ravenbloom Student trigger when casting Falling Star, and does it get +1 Might before or after the damage instances resolve? Does Falling Star trigger Dreaming Tree?

Ruling: Ravenbloom Student gets +1 Might from Falling Star after targets are declared but before damage is dealt. Falling Star does not trigger Dreaming Tree because it's a triggered ability (not a spell) doing the targeting.

Sequence:

• Falling Star is played and goes on the chain
• Falling Star resolves and adds damage triggers as pending
• Ravenbloom Student trigger is added as pending
• Cleanup finalizes all pending triggers (this is when targeting happens)
• Ravenbloom Student trigger resolves first (last in, first out)
• Then damage instances resolve

Nuances:

• Ravenbloom Student only gets +1 Might for the one spell cast, not for each damage trigger from Falling Star
• Ravenbloom Tome does increase the damage from Falling Star's reflexive triggers because damage from reflexive triggers is attributed to the original spell
• Riot has indicated they may want Falling Star to trigger Dreaming Tree in a future rules update, but current rules as written do not support this
