When do players who aren't involved in a showdown gain priority/focus to intervene? Do the relevant players pass between each other first, or does priority/focus go around the table clockwise?

Ruling: Priority and focus go clockwise in turn order, not back and forth between only the players involved in the showdown.

Sequence:

• If there is an item on the chain, only priority passes (clockwise in turn order)
• If there is no item on the chain, both priority and focus pass (clockwise in turn order)
• When the last item on the chain resolves during a showdown, focus passes and the next player in turn order gains both focus and priority

Nuances:

• Focus does not pass when the last item on the Initial Chain resolves, if there was one - instead the player with focus proceeds with play
