Can you miss timing from mandatory battlefield effects, and what happens if you don't verbally announce triggers?

Answer
Ruling: In Riftbound, every trigger is mandatory (with deflect as an exception), but players must verbally announce their triggers when they occur. If a trigger is not announced and a new game action is taken, it is considered forgotten, and the opponent decides whether to resolve it immediately or miss it altogether.
Sequence:
- Player must verbally announce each trigger when it occurs
- Player must pass priority for a response after announcing
- If not announced before a new game action is taken, the trigger is considered forgotten
- If the trigger was missed in a previous turn, players continue playing
- Otherwise, the next opponent in turn order chooses whether to resolve the trigger immediately or miss it altogether
Nuances:
- Players can agree to shortcuts at the beginning of a match to ease this requirement, but cannot force an opponent to agree to shortcuts
- This applies to all triggers including Student's +1 might and Watcher
- The opponent can respond to the original spell on the chain instead of waiting for the trigger if they prefer
