If I have a blue Viktor and my opponent plays removal to take him out, but I play reaction spells on the stack on top of their removal, do I get to play a token?

Ruling: Yes, you get to play a token when you play reaction spells in response to removal targeting Viktor, unless the reaction spell itself removes Viktor from the board.

Sequence:

• Opponent plays removal targeting Viktor
• You play reaction spell(s) on top of the removal on the stack
• Reaction spells resolve first (stack resolves top to bottom)
• If Viktor is still on board when your reaction resolves, his triggered ability triggers and creates a token
• Then the opponent's removal resolves

Nuances:

• If you play Stupefy in response to their removal, Viktor will trigger and create a 1/1 Might recruit token because Viktor is still on board when Stupefy resolves
• If you play Retreat targeting Viktor in response, Retreat will NOT trigger Viktor because Viktor will not be on the board when Retreat resolves, so his triggered ability won't be able to trigger
