Ruling: Yes, anytime you move to an unoccupied Battleground it creates an open showdown, and if you don't get pushed out, you successfully conquer and score a point.

Sequence:

• Move unit to unoccupied Battleground
• Open showdown is created
• If not pushed out, conquer is successful and point is scored
