When a unit moved by Ride the Wind loses combat, does it return to base exhausted or ready?

Ruling: When a unit loses combat and is recalled to base, it returns in whatever state it is currently in (ready or exhausted). Recall is not a move action.

Nuances:

• Recall specifically is not considered a move
• Moves outside of a unit's standard move action preserve the unit's current state (ready/exhausted) unless the card causing the move states otherwise
• In the Kayn example with Ride the Wind: if Kayn moved twice and is exhausted when he loses combat, he returns to base exhausted
