Ruling: To get the 8th point from conquering, you only need to have scored all other battlefields previously; you don't need to actually control them at the time you score the 8th point.

Nuances:

• A player can conquer one battlefield, retreat from it, then conquer another battlefield to score the 8th point, as long as they had scored all other battlefields at some point.
