Ruling: Yes, judges can play in Nexus nights at the local level, but the event must be run at Casual OPL (Organized Play Level). The designated Judge of that event would not be able to play.

Nuances:

• Nexus nights should be run at Casual OPL anyway
• Not all people qualified as Judges are affected by this restriction
• If a judge plays in a Skirmish, it would be bumped down to a Casual event
• Skirmish events are advised to be held at Competitive OPL
