If I switcharoo a unit with a buff, does it keep its buff or plus 1 after the swap?

According to RiftJudge FAQ #2144, when you use Switcheroo to swap the might of two units, the units keep their physical buffs as objects, but their current might values are swapped.

Here is how the interaction works:

  • Buffs remain: Buffs are physical objects attached to units. They do not move or transfer during a Switcheroo; they stay on the original unit.
  • Might is swapped: Switcheroo calculates the difference between the two units' current might (which includes the +1 from their buffs) and applies a fixed modifier to each unit for the turn to achieve the swapped total.
  • Retained stats: Because the physical buff remains on the unit, the unit still "has" the buff after the swap. If the buff is later spent or removed, the unit's might will decrease accordingly.

In summary, the unit keeps its buff (the physical counter), and because that buff was factored into the might calculation at the moment Switcheroo resolved, the unit's might reflects the swap. If you remove the buff later, the unit's might will decrease by the value of that buff (typically 1).
