If a Recruit token is banished with zero drive, would the zero drive Deathknell re-play it?

No. A Recruit token banished by Zero Drive's Deathknell cannot be replayed later.

When the token enters the banishment zone, it ceases to exist immediately — tokens cannot exist in any non-board zone (Rule 183.1). By the time you activate Zero Drive's unattached ability to play units banished with it, the token is gone and can't be found or played. This is the same ruling as FAQ #720 for sprite tokens — it applies to all tokens.
