Yes, your Legend counts as something you control.

Your Champion Legend is a Game Object (Rule 173) that you establish during the Setup process (Rule 112). All Game Objects have a Controller (Rule 189.1), and the rules consistently refer to "your legend" and "a friendly legend" — the latter only making sense because Legends have a controller that determines "friendly" status (Rule 740.1). Additionally, when a Legend has an ability, the controller of its source (the Legend) controls that ability (Rule 188.4.a).

So if an effect says "target a permanent you control," that wouldn't include your Legend — because Legends are not Permanents (Rule 174). But for effects that say "a game object you control," "a friendly legend," or "your legend," yes, your Legend is under your control.
