When playing a piece of equipment, does it enter the base readied or exhausted?

Ruling: Equipment enters the battlefield ready by default (unless specified otherwise on the card).

Nuances:

• Equipping or using the equip ability does not require the equipment to be ready
• You can use the equip ability while the equipment is tapped
• Equipment does not need to be in the same location (base or battlefield) as the unit to be equipped or swapped
