I saw a ruling a while ago about this for green yasuos ability which should work exactly the same. There it said that the "here" is a property of the spell when its on the chain. So it will still work if yasuo gets moved away (or put into hand). It only missfires if the target is not "here" anymore. The cited rule 359.3.e.12 cares about the target of the ability as well it seems to me and not about the source which should be irrelevant after the ability goes on the chain. Maybe there has been some new official rulings since then(I can not find the FAQ) but the cited rules dont seem explain the stated behaviour. I would appreciate if someone could look at this again.September 28, 2026
