Answer

No — the spell from the trash never gets played.

Thrill of the Hunt banishes your Brynhir and has its owner play it to a battlefield, so the Brynhir that lands is a new game object and its "When you play me, opponents can't play cards this turn" triggers and goes onto the Chain above Fizz's "When you play me" ability. Chain resolves LIFO, so the lockout applies first, and when Fizz's ability finally resolves your opponent simply can't perform the play — the instruction is negated, nothing is played, and the spell just sits in their trash (no recycle, since it never left the trash).

The important distinction from the usual "Fizz still resolves" answer: Fizz's card was already played and resolved, but the spell he plays from trash is a separate play that hasn't happened yet, so Brynhir's lock-out catches it ( — a prevention effect negates the instruction on resolution rather than making the ability illegal earlier).

One timing note: Thrill needs [Reaction] to be played into the Closed State, and it must be in response to Fizz's trigger being on the Chain — you can't get this done before the trigger exists.
