The review queue
The Review Queue at /review is where arbiters process items that need attention. It is divided into three sections, shown in this order.
Three queue sections
- Pending Proposals — community corrections awaiting your approve or reject decision. Multiple pending proposals per question are allowed.
- Unverified Questions — AI answers not yet confirmed, shown oldest first. Excludes flagged questions and those with pending proposals.
- Flagged Questions — questions with one or more active Flags, or a vote score of −3 or below (auto-flag). The status badge is unchanged — a verified answer can still appear here. Flagged questions stay visible on community feeds (Recent, Trending, Needs votes) with a quiet Under review mark.
How flagged items arrive
Users can file a Flag with a preset reason (and optional free text). Enough net downvotes also push the vote score to ≤ −3, which triggers auto-flagging. See Voting & comments for how voting works.
Flagged arbiter actions

| Dismiss | Flag not upheld (flagger −2). Status unchanged; question stays live. No note required. Optionally post a public Dismissed: {note} comment (tick the checkbox) — notifies the asker. |
| Needs fix | Flag upheld (flagger +4). Status unchanged; votes are not settled. Note required — sent to every flagger in their settle notification. Optionally post a public Needs fix: {note} comment (tick the checkbox) — notifies the asker. |
| Deprecate | Flag upheld (flagger +4). Status → deprecated (read-only). A public Deprecated: {reason} comment is always added and the asker is notified. No further voting, comments, or proposals. Reason required. |
Dismiss = “the community was wrong to flag.” Needs fix = “the flag is right but the answer should stay live for voting.” Deprecate = “the answer is wrong or outdated.”
You cannot settle a Flagged question (or Verify / Approve on it) while you still have an active Flag on that question — withdraw first so another arbiter reviews Flags you filed.

Contributor → arbiter workload
Community contributions generate your workload as an arbiter:
- Edit proposals → items in the Pending Proposals section
- Downvotes → items in the Flagged section
- The Unverified backlog is proactive verification — not triggered by community action
